The Liver Building

From the top of Mount Pleasant, we see the two clock towers of the
Royal Liver Building, one of the true emblems of the city. It's a
building whose style gives reinforced concrete a good name.
Completed in 1911, its clock dials are bigger even than those on Big Ben.
