A Prospect Of Closure
On this I cannot, of course, comment. Except to say that:
- It falls in line broadly with my expectations, knowing the political and administrative culture which prevails
- From a purely selfish point of view, I have certain legal and contractual protections which should shield me from the worst of the potential outcomes
- By the time it gets near to the very brink, I may well have been able to take early retirement anyway, and
- The whole thing stinks like a glutton's fart in a lift.
