I was never a fan, but Prince was always himself to the max (and beyond, if the reviews of his gigs were anything to go by), wrote some great songs (for himself and others) and had style. We need people like this in popular culture.
(And for once, I can't embed a video of the deceased, because the deceased had very strong Views on the subject of the internet, and so there's virtually nothing out there to embed.)
