Approaching Menace...
I think it only fair that I advise my readers (hello, both!) that I have now completed the first and second drafts of the infamous end-of-year round-up.
The fact that it has needed two drafts may cause you to become somewhat trepidant. Fear not! It runs to a mere ten thousand words or so.
I'm holding back on it just in case I get a better idea (like deleting the file altogether and pretending I haven't done anything; you know, like Boris Johnson does), or in case something apocalyptic happens in the next week. At the moment, the 29th or the 30th looks favourite. Please stand by...
