Thanks to David Pescovitz at BoingBoing for pointing out that today's date - if written in the dd/mm/yyyy format - is not merely palindromic but (if set in the right font) ambigrammic as well. That is, it not only reads the same backwards but also when rotated through 180°. viz.:
