Nativity Nosh Time

This year, the team took itself off to the picturesque Golden Lion in Rossett for its festive jollies, an afternoon of good food at good prices with friendly and helpful staff.

For the record, Yer Judge partook of:

• Honey-roasted parsnip & carrot soup with toasted pumpkin seeds
• Grilled plaice fillets topped with a tarragon & caper hollandaise sauce with buttered new potatoes
• Warm double chocolate brownie with a dark chocolate sauce & vanilla ice cream.

Thanks as ever for the conviviality and hilarity to: Julie (always The Boss!), Paul (always top chauffeur!), Siân, Nikki, Helen, Sharon, Moira and Claire; and hello to Paula and Karen, who couldn't make it.
